The legendary Carnatic violinist TN Krishnan was conferred the prestigious Legends of India Lifetime Achievement Award by the then Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu while Dipayan Mazumdar proudly enjoys the moment.

An incredibly prestigious roster of talent! Since the Legends of India Lifetime Achievement Awards began in 2002, they have clearly become a benchmark for excellence across Indian classical music, dance, theatre, and visual arts.
The past awardees - ranging from the legendary sarod maestro Padma Bhushan Buddhadev Dasgupta to the theatrical genius of Habib Tanvir, Zoya Sehgal and Badal Sarkar - reads like a "who’s who" of India's cultural heritage. Having the awards presented by luminaries like Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat and others certainly adds to the weight of the honour.
This was indeed a celebrated moment for Legends of India Lifetime Achievement Awards where, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu conferred the award upon the legendary violinist T.N. Krishnan.
Following the ceremony, Prof. Krishnan requested Shri Naidu to stay and listen to his performance.. Despite the Vice President's tight schedule Shri Naidu graciously obliged, extending his stay by approximately an hour. This is the glimpse of the memorable performance.
