A new sport has emerged! Spreading like wildfire since its recent introduction, Pickleball has taken the world by storm. Is it the convenience of its setup? Is it the easier to handle paddles and plastic ball? Is it the reduced intensity that allows all ages to enjoy a relaxed cardio regime? Or is it just a fun new sport that people have learnt to enjoy? Whatever the reason maybe, Pickleball seems like it is here to stay! (Especially considering the rumors of it getting a spot as an additional game in upcoming Olympic events).
As it continues its journey of popularity, Pickleball has now made its way to Kompally with Bounce Racquet Club. Three courts located on the terrace of what was once a food court/birthday party hang out just above the Croma showroom.
We visited as two families and being our first experience, we were totally enjoying the experience! The weather held up beautifully at night with its floodlit setup and while the ball did go across courts often, it was still not a hindrance to anyone and everyone respected each others game and space.
There is also a small shop by the courts where you can purchase paddles and refreshments to stay hydrated. We were also told during billing that one of the racquet paddles made from carbon fibre retails for as high as INR 15K. Unsure who might consider it unless you are a professional or intending to get into a league.
Overall, a lovely experience during a winters night with an hours worth of cardio thoroughly enjoyed by all age groups! As for when the summer arrives, we shall see just who many can handle the scorching temperatures up on the terrace!

Spending quality time playing pickleball for the first time on an open terrace is a wonderful experience. The enjoyable game, combined with the fresh outdoor setting, makes it truly delightful.

Roof top pickle ball at reasonable prices. But rent for the rackets felt on the higher side.

Had a lot of fun playing bowling and pickle ball. Equipment was in good condition and staff were friendly too.

I am a repeat customer of this place, and they never disappoint ...must try pickle ball

I went to this place in the hope of an amazing experience but i was JUST DISAPPOINTED. When I entered no one was there to assist me and I had to call on the bowling floor to come and give the racquets and when it came to giving the bill, I was told that racquets cost 250+ taxes, which should have been told before starting the game. The guy on the counter was of no help and they charged taxes without providing invoice. Every other place in the city provides racquet within the cost of the court. Extremely disappointed, won't be visiting again
