I joined Excellent Tutorial a few months ago, and honestly, it has been a really good experience for me. The teachers are not only highly efficient but also very friendly and supportive.

I randomly came across Excellent Tutorial for preparation of competitive exams and Voilà that's   what I needed -  All the faculties are really experienced and amazing, every batch contains 12-13 students which makes the classes more interactive and easy to concentrate, the materials given in the form of handouts are really useful, the regular homeworks and regular mock tests, class tests which are conducted in the best manner are really useful for the students and their improvement, backup classes, doubt clearance are also available.

I've been studying at Excellent Tutorial (Jadavpur branch) since December 2024 for both SSC and Banking. The learning experience so far has been pretty satisfactory and regular classes with proper study materials are provided to the students. All the teachers are well-versed, knowledgeable and are eager to help us with our problems. I would definitely recommend this tutorial centre to aspirants for government jobs preparation.

Although I haven’t visited the Behala branch yet, my younger brother studied at the Jadavpur branch of Excellent Tutorial and successfully cleared both the SBI clerk and SSC CGL exams one after another in his 1st attempt. Currently, he’s planning to appear for the WBCS exam, so he might rejoin again. The opening of the Behala branch is really convenient for us residents of Behala — now we don’t have to rush to Jadavpur anymore. Thank you, Excellent Tutorial! My decision to enroll my brother there was absolutely right.

Enter only with the knowledge that you  will be taken seriously for the first month; then granted for the rest of the session as its focus is solely on procuring new learners (speaking from experience in Jadavpur main branch where my daughter was enrolled from 21st November 2023). WBCS-specific topics were covered till their batch was merged with the February-admitted joinees. Advance Mathematics which is the focus area of Staff Selection Commission, was touched only after June which was way late considering the examination calendar year. Moreover topics are leapfrogged from 1 to another in Arithmetic from the second month onwards.
No revision or remedial class is provided for doubt clarification. Class doesn't start on time and queries are entertained by Sunirmal Sir during ongoing classes. Reasoning is taught in the most lackadaisical manner as the faculty himself has no idea and when students apply their apriori knowledge, he reprimands them. Further he switches off the electrical appliances rudely when students are not done packing their stuff to hurry back home.
English was taught pretty well and so were General Science, Current Affairs, etc. Intimation isn't sent about cancellation of classes, amendments in schedule, etc because of which people returned after coming to attend classes.
Mock tests are conducted systematically but batch merging is a big problem. Personal attention is not provided as the learning gap between Technology and Arts background is not bridged.

One of the best places for SSC and combined exam preparation . The teachers explain every topic clearly and make sure everyone understands. Regular mock tests and notes are very helpful. The environment is positive and encouraging — perfect for focused study. Highly recommended for anyone serious about cracking SSC - combined exams.

A great place to start your govt exams preparation. The faculties are very experienced and gives more effort & attention towards each student . One should definitely opt for this coaching.

This branch is an offshoot of the head office of the meditative mastermind in Jadavpur. Though my daughter was enrolled there from 21 November 2023-24 for a one year course (general combined), syllabus was not completed for her batch especially Advanced Maths and General Intelligence, Reasoning, etc because of miscommunication and zero imtimation of postponement of classes on Panchami, Vishwakarma Puja, etc. Further, cut to 2 months ahead of their joining, her batch was merged with West Bengal Public Service Commission for five months. Quantitative Aptitude began to be taught quarter to half an hour later than the scheduled time.
Selective topics for IBPS were taught on the condition that the students adjust to the morning slot even though she got  admitted in the evening batch.
Backup classes were given for those missed but General Awareness could not be kept pace with that way as there is no alternate provision of attending sessions online.
Materials and book are provided except some GI/ QA classes were soft copies were sent to us.
As soon as the self-proclaimed Excellent Tutorial was done with the Crash Course joinees, her batch underwent a second round of merger with the new admissions in February. My ward was the last standing aspirant of her batch as others boycotted it for taking them for granted, not updating them on the days to come, etc. They taught her more than a month less completing only English and GK while shamelessly having received full fees on the day of admission itself.
Moreover the head faculty and his stooge are just obsessed with those who feel can make it go the "wall of fame" and don't care about the rest of the class.

They prepare you for SSC, IBPS, SBI,CGL,WBCS exams and provide you with  notes. Overall i highly recommend this institution to anyone seeking quality education
