No account of the history of Calcutta would be complete without the mention of the nightlife and the foodscape of Chowringhee and Park Street from the 1940s till the 1970s. Park Street is the symbol of the swinging 1960s and 1970s when Calcutta used to party through the night.

Chapter 2 is an excellent spot for breakfast. I really enjoyed their American breakfast options - the eggs were cooked perfectly! It's a great place to start the day. Highly recommend.
