Extremely Disappointing & Misleading Service

I had a very poor experience at the Vodafone Idea mini Store, Shyam Towers near Chauhan Market, Pallavpuram. On 28th February, my SIM lost network due to a supposed KYC issue. The staff member informed me that my prepaid SIM could only be reactivated by converting it to a postpaid connection with a monthly charge of around ₹600 and that I would be required to continue it for at least four months. He also falsely claimed that prepaid SIM activation has not been allowed since March 2020.
This information was completely incorrect.
The very next day, I visited another VI center where they simply completed Aadhaar KYC and issued a duplicate prepaid SIM immediately. My number was activated on the spot without any forced conversion or unnecessary charges.
This clearly shows that I was misled and pressured into opting for an expensive postpaid plan without valid reason. Such practices are highly unprofessional and damage customer trust.
I strongly advise others to verify information before proceeding at this location.
