Situated at a walking distance from The Gateway of India, this place is a legendary outlet known for it's mouthwatering food and beer! Their walls have beautiful cartoon murals and the soothing songs from all the recent decades can be heard in the backdrop. You can count on this place without any hesitation but make sure you book in advance especially at evenings as the place is small and tables are conjusted as well. But the ambience, food and alcohol make up for the inconveniences caused if any! Mostly it's jam packed with tourists, but luckily in the afternoon it was not full and we proceeded inside without any waiting! With a variety of options to choose from, I opted for:
✓Fish and Chips: Served with classic tartar sauce and grilled veggies, this one was indeed iconic in taste, quality and portion. The deep fried succulent fish with a thin crispy outer layering was indeed a match made in heaven! Try out this for sure!
✓Masala chai: The kadak masala chai was refreshing and soothing! Just enough to get rid of laziness and charging up yourselves!
✓Cappuccino: Strong and milky, just the way I prefer! Presentation was stellar! The crafted coffee art was mesmerizing!
✓Ham and cheese grilled sandwich: Oozing with cheese, this sandwich was a perfect end to cheese temptations! The ham was sweet and sour with the mouth melting cheese! Grilled with perfection, the crispy wafers were complimenting the whole thing.
My visit was nothing short of spectacular, they just need to tighten up their service!

Cafe Mondegar is a good place to eat. They have the best food in town. It's super affordable and they serve great quality food, as well. I really enjoy eating here because their food taste so delicious! It's one of my favorite restaurants in town and I would highly recommend it to everyone who loves CHicken Hot Dog.

My friend and I went to the Cafe Mondegar for a few drinks and we had a good experience. The Fluffy Omelette was too good, not like a regular Omelette, there was something different in it. Also, the beer was served chilled. We only had a few drinks and starters which was good but can't say about the main course.We will try and come again for sure. #Nice Evening.

Crispy chicken is the must try if you are a non vegetarian and if you are somebody who prefers veg then try out their pepper paneer. I always have a good experience visiting this restaurant. #Delicious.

I always visit here just for their potato fries. But with the time that this place has become overcrowded. As a result I preferred to get my food home delivered rather than eating out. #Make more space.

Mutton keema pav is a must try because it will give you the right flavour of mutton and the blend of pav makes it just perfect. I also like the hospitality of this restaurant and the overall sitting area was nice.
