Sikandari Raan is the signature dish at Ahilyadevi Thali , and diners love it — the subtle flavor, juicy succulence from charbroiling, larger portions, lean meat and the ritual of sharing and eating with your fingers makes for an excellent meal.The meat is braised to achieve the final subtle tastes – salty, pungent, sour, sweet, bitter all at the same time. Traditionally it is slow cooked in a large pit, with meat wrapped in a cloth and closing the pit with mud and burning coals so that mud and other dirt does not get inside it.
Sikndari raan. In this thali you get a huge portion of lamb with rice,curry, grilled pineapples,salads and topped with pomegranates . You need atleast 4-6 people to finish this Sikandari Raan. Lamb was cooked well , eat a bite of raan with curry and also with chutney tastes so delicious. Grilled pineapple is served with thali for better digestion.
Kheema laado is basically a meat balls with authentic spices, secret recipe and so delicious in taste 🤤 .
