Our 100V Substation Float Cum Boost Charger (FCBC) is a microprocessor-based, fully automatic battery charging system designed to provide reliable DC power supply for substations and industrial applications. The charger ensures continuous float charging to keep the battery fully charged while simultaneously supplying uninterrupted DC power to connected loads such as protection relays, control panels, and switchgear systems. In the event of battery discharge or low battery voltage, the charger automatically shifts to Boost Charging mode to quickly restore the battery to its rated capacity within a specified time. Once the battery is fully charged, the system automatically reverts back to Float Charging mode for safe and efficient battery maintenance. Designed for continuous operation in critical environments, the charger offers high efficiency, low ripple DC output, excellent voltage regulation, and intelligent monitoring of key parameters including input voltage, output voltage, charging current, and battery condition. The charger is equipped with advanced protection and monitoring features such as: Over Voltage Protection Over Current Protection Short Circuit Protection Reverse Polarity Protection AC Fail / DC Fail Alarm Battery Low Voltage Protection The system also includes digital/analog metering, status indications, alarms, and optional SCADA/remote monitoring features for reliable and user-friendly operation. Applications: Electrical Substations Power Plants Transmission & Distribution Utilities Switchyard Applications Railway & Infrastructure Projects Industrial DC Systems Manufactured using industrial-grade components and housed in a rugged enclosure, VOLSTAT 100V FCBC Chargers ensure dependable performance, long service life, and uninterrupted DC power for mission-critical applications.
Integrated CBC Chargers have a broad range of applications, including power distribution, switchgear closing and tripping for substations, emergency lighting, telecommunications, control and battery charging installations, as well as fire and security systems. The charger is designed to accommodate the battery within the same cabinet. Key Features: Operates at constant potential mode and at a constant current mode. Long battery life and simplified maintenance. Fully automatic operation. Integrated system houses both charger and battery bank in a single cabinet. Interchangeable control cards. Meters on front panel for measuring voltage & current. Designed to float and boost charge both lead acid (sealed & vented) and nickel cadmium batteries in nominal voltage of 24V and 30V LEDS to indicate all important charging related information and monitor faults.
