You could disagree all you want, but I think of potatoes as the true MVP of the vegetable world. Just hear me out for a sec, okay? Whether it's hash browns for breakfast, fries for snacks, sabzi for dinner, or even a mashed mixture for comfort food, potatoes have excelled in every single cooking department there is. In fact, every bachelor I know who lives alone has a rack of potatoes in the kitchen. Upon being asked why the answer is usually some variant of "because I can make so many different dishes despite being an amateur cook!" Now, can you say that about complicated fancy veggies like broccoli or capsicum? Okay even if you can, can you guarantee that it will taste decent? Because with a potato preparation, you almost always can.
So circling back to what I said earlier, potatoes are the real MVPs. And pretty much all of the human population is well-aware of that fact. This is why there exists an assortment of potato dishes out in the inter-verse, and the number of recipes you can rack up with potatoes is too big to count. But you know what, as a veteran potato-lover, I've come to realise that a lot of these recipes are way too similar. I mean, just because you used soya sauce in one, and black salt in the other, doesn't mean they both aren't fries. So to quote Sonam Kapoor, youknowwhatImean?
We will do no such injustice. All the 10 potato recipes that will now follow are unique, lip-smacking in taste, and of course, rather easy to create by yourself. We hope they, ahem, a-peel to you! Please don't close the tab.
