6 Outfits From Lakme Fashion Week 2020 We Can't Stop Gushing Over

One of the biggest, most renowned and glamorous fashion events in the country, Lakme Fashion Week is orchestrated on a bi-annual basis, and inadvertently becomes the talk of the town whenever it transpires. 

 

Over a span of several evolutionary years in the world of fashion in India, Lakme Fashion Week has come to be recognised as a grand show always brimming with the latest fashion offerings and runway trends, and one that’s invariably star-studded with the most reputed designers, actors, socialites, industrialists and celebrities in the country. And sure enough, Lakme Fashion Week 2020 was no different! 

 

Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2020 witnessed some A-Class acts in fashion and various stellar outfits that made us want to splurge all the money we don’t really have. Here’s a carefully curated inventory of the 7 best-dressed celebs that we spotted at this year’s LFW!

 

1. Kareena Kapoor Khan

Honestly, is any best-dressed listicle in India really complete unless it features the iconic Kareena Kapoor Khan? Much to nobody’s surprise, the diva dazzled the audience as a show-stopper for designer Amit Aggarwal, in a stunning emerald green, plunge-neck off-shoulder gown. 

 

 

2. Soha Ali Khan

Walking the ramp for designer Shahin Manan, Soha Ali Khan sported a funky two-piece outfit, that was equal parts tantalizing and gothic. However, for us, its the black combat boots that really did the trick!

Looking all shades of edgy and spectacular, Shraddha Kapoor walked the ramp as a show-stopper for the grand finale of R-Elan by designer duo Pankaj and Nidhi. With sustainable fashion as the dominant theme, the tinsel town diva was spotted wearing a quirky gown made of green-gold fabric derived from used PET bottles.

The young starlet stole the show at Lakme Fashion Week 2020 as she walked for designer Punit Balana. She donned a mesmerising rose-gold lehenga featuring an exaggerated knot detail, and intricately embroidered short blouse that left us beyond amazed.

When it comes to fashion with a cause, no one quite does it like our Tinseltown ladies. At the Lakme Fashion Week 2020, Sunny Leone flaunted an uber-cool graphic T-shirt dress topped off by a balloon-sleeved, over-sized black jacket.

Neha Dhupia sashayed across the runway at LFW 2020, in an unconventional outfit put together by the graduates of INIFD. The eccentric, layered ensemble comprised of a black peplum top with polka dot collars, an asymmetrical maxi skirt, and some eye-catching print details.
