And, since our club, for English-language poems, will be encouraging diversity in styles and creativity that comes with the person, we now, will be taking another step towards the art of storytelling combined with poetry. In this event, we shall be encouraging the artistic backdrop, the scenarios and the simple eureka that makeup poems, to be told by the poets themselves, and ultimately, unleash the emotions associated with their creations. 2. Screenwriting Workshop with Anjum Rajabali
Here we are again! Back with our big screenwriting workshop conducted by one of Indian Cinema’s Best Screenwriting teacher Anjum Rajabali! The last few years, especially 2018-19, have proved beyond doubt that without a good script – forget a good film – even a successful one is not possible today. On the other hand, so many ‘small’ films have had extraordinary runs simply because they had wonderful scripts backing them. No wonder then, that there’s a mad scramble in Mumbai for good scripts and for good writers, in every language. Hence, we need more writers to up their game. By learning the craft of writing seriously, and by continuously upgrading it, polishing it.
