MASALA TOFU STIR-FRY ? Why settle for bland tofu when you can have flavour running through every bite? Made at home from scratch — with a masala twist using Teekha Chaska Masala by Faasos.
Here’s how I made it:: - Soak ½ cup soybeans overnight. In the morning, wash and rub gently to remove the peels. - Blend with 3 cups water till smooth, then strain through a cotton cloth to get soy milk. - In a heavy-bottom pan, heat the milk on low flame (stirring continuously). Add 1 tsp salt and 1 sachet of Teekha Chaska Masala by Faasos. - In a bowl, mix 1 tbsp vinegar + 2 tbsp water and pour it into the milk. Once it starts to curdle, switch off the flame. - Let it rest for 5–10 minutes, then strain and press gently to set the tofu. Once firm, cut into cubes. Refrigerate for later use.
For the stir-fry: - Heat 1 tbsp oil, add 2–3 cloves garlic (chopped), 1 onion, and ½ bell pepper. - Toss in the tofu, add 1 tbsp light soy sauce and 1 tsp Teekha Chaska. - Finish with toasted sesame seeds and a squeeze of lime.
