As the owner, Mr. Rajesh Malik quotes “The name, Fauji (soldier) was used as a tribute to my uncle, who had passed away as a martyr, fighting the war in Bangladesh, in 1971,”. 4. Cafe Military

South Bombay has a nostalgic feel to every building and street. These century old buildings are left behind by the british with wide roads and open maidans. This decade year odl cafe is located on the roads. Cafe Military is one of the top parsi restaurants in Mumbai, delighting people with their relish food since 1933. It was started by the Late Col K N Kochhar who has a great passion for food. He was well known in the army for his culinary skills. The recipes are all orginal by the Late Colonel which eventually led him into the food buisness in 1990. He opened his first restaurant in Defence colony which is still running on large scale doing take-aways, dine-ins and catering as well.
