Summer is here and so is the season of mangoes! This is the time of the year when the king of fruits overpowers our taste buds and instead of finding the combo strange, we relish it. They're delicious, juicy and rich in vitamin C and proteins

 

Now, we are all for mango drinks during summer. But have you ever thought that your favourite alcoholic drinks are also being converted into a mangolicious cocktails? No? Well, then you are missing out on one of the best things in life right now. Be it vodka, rum, whiskey or more... check out your nearest café and bar for a yummy mango cocktail.

1. Mango Margarita

This silky smooth slushy mango cocktail is the perfect summer-licious booze your taste buds would dig. A little zest of lime is added to the sweetness of the delicious Ataulfo mangoes, orange liqueur and your favourite alcohol... Tequila! It is then topped off with a mix of salt, sugar and chilli powder (on the rim), and a slice of lemon is added for the extra punch!

2. Mango & Ginger Gin Fizz

This beautiful mango cocktail is a blessing for the hot season. Not only is it based on our favourite summer fruit, but it's also stacked with the goodness of ginger, lime and fizz (courtesy of soda water). The flavours touch your soul and the bright colours add life to your day.

3. Mango Daiquiri

Rum certainly lacks the summer spirit. However, with this mango cocktail, you can still relish your favourite rum. What's in it? Well, with lime juice, ripe mango, sugar syrup and white rum; you have a perfect summer cocktail with the king of fruits. It is usually garnished with a mango slice.
