Starting from the easiest in the world of fashion, couture or Haute Couture means a custom-designed outfit or a dress that is tailor stitched to an individual's specifications and requirements. Silhouette
Silhouette is nothing but a specific cut according to which a dress is made. Not just a fancy name to the shape of an outfit, it's more than just being out of the dictionary. A Silhouette is more specific to altering and creating flattering illusions about the client's body shape. More commonly used for bridal attires, they can be of 3 basic categories apart from the modern twists and tweaks, the Sack, the European and the American Cut, and either of these can camouflage, highlight or subdue any body shape as per your requirements.

Hemline
This one can be a serious head-turner if you do it right. For a hemline, the lower edge of a skirt, a coat or a dress and however controversial it may be, it has been often used to define the length of these attires. To put it across more explicitly, it's the height of your Hemline that gets the real attention. There's even a hemline theory that came out in the 1920s, "shorter the hemline, stronger the economy".

Peplum
It's a small addition that makes a huge contribution to making you look good. A peplum is a gathered or pleated strip, attached to the middle section of a dress or an upper, more common for those who need to hide their belly fat in a dress beneath. If you're not in the best shape of your life and need to sport that little black dress this evening, then a Peplum can be your knight in shining armour.

De'colletage
De'colletage is more classy than revealing when done right. It means the low neckline of a chic dress and that completes the classic red carpet look for a woman of class and compassion. It's not your choice if you wish to keep things subtle, but is an epithet of your confident and vibrant personality.

Macrame
A Macrame dress is as sensual as is classy. The literal meaning defines it the best, it's the art of knotting lengths of cords into decorative patterns and timeless couture. A dress made with Macrame technique in itself is a complete makeover of your looks, just pair it up with some accessories and you would steal the show.

Empire Waist
The entire concept of Empire Waist is to bloom out the beautiful you. It covers the lower body under a pleated skirt with the waistline starting right below the bust, making it a great option for the "healthy ones among" to disguise their lower body fat and look taller than they actually are. Perfect in solid colours and floral patterns, this style goes well with all body types and shapes you may be.
