Purpose: The solid grip and high load-bearing capacity of the chuck nut are essential for withstanding the immense pressure exerted by wet concrete, preventing the formwork from bulging or collapsing. Load Capacity: A critical specification that indicates the maximum load the nut can withstand. For high-strength versions, ultimate load capacity can exceed 180 kN. Weight: Varies with size and manufacturing method. For example, some D16 anchor nuts can weigh over 1 kg. Surface Finish: To protect against corrosion and rust, chuck nuts are often coated or plated.
