hen you are out for a holiday, the last thing you want is your skin and hair to react to the change in the weather and for it to go bad. Beauty products that suit your skin and are essential for your hair should be handy at that time. Packing all your beauty and skin care regime essentials should be on the top of your priority while packing for a vacation you are more than excited for.

The list of products you should have in your bag goes as follows –

1. Travel Manicure Kit

The last thing you should be focusing on rather than enjoying your holiday is a chipped nail or an extra brow hair. The travel manicure kit has essentials to take care of this because it takes over your mind. You could also add an extra needle and thread to sew if something in your perfect vacation outfit goes wrong.

2. Lip Balm

You never know how your oh-so-perfect pout will react to a change in the weather when you make this shift. A sudden dip in the temperature can make your lips dry and chapped. A hot and humid atmosphere will dehydrate your lips. A lip balm is a must in such cases. Carry one with Vitamin E extracts and an SPF to protect your lips from damage.

3.  Mascara/Eyeliner

Make that switch from the regular formula to a water-poof one when you are moving out of the house to an unpredictable change in the weather. You don’t want to be walking in rain against The Great Wall of Chine or the Leaning Tower of Pisa with mascara or eyeliner dripping out of your eyes.

4. Deodrant/ Perfume

If your traveling to restful Thailand or to chilly Alaska, it’s important to stay fresh and smell good. A good cologne should be on the top of your beauty essentials list. You don’t want to be smelling like a fish when you are in an area that serves decent sea food. A good fragrance in a small package makes the perfect travel partner.

5. Nail Polish & Remover

No matter how tightly you secure the cap on your nail polish remover, some always seems to end up spilling out and creating a mess in transit. Go for the wipes that take your nail polish off in one go. If you are going on a long vacation, you definitely don’t want to be wearing the same shade and most definitely not a chipped one. Change your nail polish in a convenient manner by carrying a small box of nail polish remover pads that you can find easily in any cosmetics store.

6. Make Up Brushes

Carry a portfolio or a small set of make up brushes that can help you fix your make-up anytime, anywhere. At the airport, or when you land, or even when you are out sightseeing, a small set of brushes is a must to keep you foundation intact and concealer on point. You can even tuck in a few Band-Aids, Q-tips, and packets of Advil so it can double as a first-aid kit.

7. A Concealer

A full coverage and hard-working concealer is a strict yes, especially if you are not expecting much sleep on your trip. Those under-eye bags and unnecessary spots need a shoulder to cry on. The beauty of the place you’re visiting need to match the beauty of your face. Do not forget to carry that tubed concealer that is easy to use and portable.

8. BB Creams

Most BB creams act as a 5 in 1 product. They are primers, moisturizers, skin perfecters, foundations, and sunscreens in one small tube and they definitely deserve a business class ticket to your chose destination. Your vanity kit will be incomplete without one.

9. Cleanser- Toner- Moisturizer

DO NOT let go of the C-T-M ( Cleansing – Toning – Moisturizing ) routine once you hit the road. It has to be followed every single day. Your skin doesn’t just get the glow itself. It has to be worked on every single day. So small bottles of cleanser, toner and moisturizer need to be carried along with you.

10. Razor

The razor comes with all the goodies you need for a smooth shave, but is tiny enough to tote around in a makeup bag. At journey’s end, toss it out. The extra room in your bag may not make that much of a difference, but sometimes every bit counts.
