1. Energy snack bars

Going empty stomach before or after a workout isn't really the right thing to do. It's advisable to keep a couple of protein bars in your gym bag - you might need them before or after the workout.

2. A small microfibre towel

Remember hygiene is important - most of us end up giving in too much at the gym which leads to massive sweating, keeping a small microfibre towel should a part of your gym hygiene. 5. Combination lock

Not every gym will be well-equipped with safety locks, there's a big chance you'll come across broken lockers.
